A chaque fête religieuse son gâteau, à chaque jour sa fête religieuse.
L’après-midi, à l’Istituto Valdez, en attendant Giacinto et sa bande, séance d’improvisations dirigées avec les moyens du bord. Les quelques jupes colorées et bonnets pomponnés que nous avons apporté, une table à roulettes, un sorte de palmier en pot. Un travail pour la caméra de Muriel qui nourrit aussi notre répertoire théâtral.
Face à l’absence du père pâtissier de Giacinto (en concours à Rome) nous décidons tout de même dans la journée d’essayer quelques histoires sur la gourmandise et la voracité dans la salle de conférence de l’hôtel, avec les gâteaux crémeux et fruités de la pâtisserie où nous avions déjeuné. Frédéric, Sandrine, Giacinto et surtout Burhan essaient des personnages baroques et affamés qui doivent tenir dans le cadre de la caméra.

Every religious festival has its cake, every day has its religious festival.
In the afternoon, at the Istituto Valdez, pending Giacinto and his band, directed improvisation session with the means at hand. The few colored skirts and preened bonnets that we made, a rolling table, a sort of potted palm. A work for Muriel’s camera, who sustains our theatrical repertoire.
Given the absence of the father of Giacinto, (a pastry, in competition in Rome), we decide nevertheless to try a few stories about gluttony and greed, in the conference room of the hotel, with creamy and fruity cakes of the bakery where we had lunch. Frédéric, Sandrine, Giacinto and especially Burhan test baroque and hungry characters who must remain within the framework of the camera.
