Palerme, lundi 13 décembre 2010 (FR) Je me souviens d’il-doit-y-avoir huit ans : le retour de Christiane et Franck de Palerme, leur rencontre avec Daniela (l’ancienne directrice du Centre Culturel Français) qui voulait démarrer quelque chose avec nous à Palerme (sans argent) et l’appel qu’elle passât à Brême pour dire qu’il fallait être partenaire de notre projet européen d’alors “Le théâtre pour s’affirmer comme citoyen du monde” (video)  Ce qu’ils firent.Les deux années au bout desquelles l’opiniâtre Daniela obtînt un rendez-vous avec la Ville puis un soutien financier de leur part pour ce projet, reconduit l’année suivante à l’approche d’échéances municipales et surtout grâce à l’enthousiasme d’Antonio DL. Une ville de Sisyphe(s). La création d’“Addio mamma” au Teatro Garibaldi, un spectacle qui se déroulait au bord d’une route, entre des ruines, comme ici. La télé des voisins, les chats qui traversent le plateau, la pluie sur le plateau fragilise, les bouches béantes des loges fantômes, un lieu qui vit. Les bravos que j’entends pour la première fois au pluriel “Bravi !”.Puis la création de “Zitto!” un an plus tard, l’histoire d’une boîte magique pleine de gens qui s’échoue sur une plage, comme ici aujourd’hui et à partir d’ici depuis des lustres. Le théâtre est la matrice d’un dialogue indicible et évident avec la ville. Et plein d’histoires dont nous avons rendu compte .“On n’est jamais arrivés”, dit l’un des personnages de “Zitto !”. Nous revenons depuis quelques mois à Palerme, encore grâce au soutien de l’Europe. Retour impromptu de Giacinto, passé adulte : il a toujours une envie très forte de théâtre et de bonnes qualités de comédiens. Nous l’invitons depuis à participer à l’Ensemble Théâtral Européen.Nous sommes arrivés ce soir à Palerme : Sandrine, Frédéric, Burhan, Muriel et bien sûr Christiane, rejoints demain par Giacinto. Début des ateliers demain, le planning des jours prochains reste à définir. Les écoles sont occupées. La réouverture du Teatro Garibaldi annoncée dans la presse était une rumeur. The theater is the matrix of a unspeakable and clear dialogue with the city. And many stories which we reported.  « You can never arrive », says one of the characters of Zitto !. We return to Palermo after a few months, still with the support of Europe. Unexpected back of Giacinto, now an adult: he still has a very strong desire for drama and good qualities of comedians. We invited him to participate to the European Theatre Ensemble. We arrived this evening in Palermo: Sandrine, Frédéric, Burhan, Muriel and Christiane, of course, joined by Giacinto tomorrow. Workshops beginning tomorrow, planning the next few days remains to be defined. Schools are occupied. The reopening of the Teatro Garibaldi Theatre announced in the press was a rumor.
